NEW!  Fall Program Line-up at Read Sanctuary!

We are pleased to be able to offer some public programs again at the sanctuary. These are free, outdoor-only programs. Meet at the nature center, and dress for the weather!  Established NYS Covid-19 safety protocols must be followed by participants (including distancing of at least 6-ft  and wearing face coverings during the program).

Here are the first few events. Registration is required. Space is limited.

Wednesday, November 18, 3-5PM — Invasive Plant Removal, Volunteer Opportunity!
All supplies will be provided but please bring your own water. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toed shoes.  Contact Erin@thewpf.org with questions.

Saturday, November 21, 10AM-Noon — “What Happened Here?”
Animal Sign Tracking begins with a simple question and soon reveals a story of the living landscape. Learn the art of “seeing” tracks. Weather permitting.
