Over time, invasive vines like Porcelain Berry, Oriental Bittersweet, and Mile-a-Minute can cause early demise and disappearance of native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers.  Loss of native host-specific plants for insects means migrating and nesting birds may not have enough insect food to feed their young during critical times of the year.
